Default Major Party Upgrade - Official Q&A thread. (#2 of 5.)

The first Q&A thread is becoming cumbersome, so please add your new questions, answers and comments to this second thread, if possible.

Mike O'Malley and other Party Executives will be monitoring the threads and will supply pertinent information as required.

Of course, this depends on the tone of the threads. If you ask reasonable questions and give reasonable criticisms, they will enter the threads more often. If there is name-calling and abuse, they'll stay out of them. It's up to you. Jim and I will be quite aggressive with editing and deleting posts to try to keep the threads as useful as possible for all of us.

Thank you for your support in this aim. It is much appreciated.

Will NL players be rewarded more appropriately with Party Poker points? I currently pay greater than $10K/month in rake playing mid/high level NL full ring cash games; yet it is nearly impossible for me to ever attain the Gold level status; whereas a limit player paying the same amount of rake as me could easily attain Gold level.

Best regards,

APerfect10

There has been many threads recently about people getting hacked and losing money. There seems to be a trojan.backdoor that gets placed during the party client install process.

Can anyone from Party comment on this? I can supply the thread links if you would like to read them.

Thank you in advance for replies on this serious issue.

Posted in first thread but, fear overlooked, too serious an issue to ignore.

I'd also like some news that these threats are being investigated more seriously than the standard intenet paranoia.

It would be awesome if Mike or some other Party rep could post the contents and prices of the new store for those of us that can't access it yet.

This is the response I received yesterday when I explained that my MAS was detecting the trojan.
