[ QUOTE ]
N00bs and rubes, NL is a game where we can be playing for stacks on any given hand. You should find within this thread various methods of getting your stack in the middle. Open to all, post your awesomeness here. Enjoy! Requirements for posting hands in this thread: 1. Hero believes he played the hand well. 2. HERO MUST WIN AT LEAST 80 bb's. 3. Post only converted hands and remember to post results. 4. It's also very nice of you if you can take the results out of white, so we don't have to highlight to see them. 5. If it's not obvious why you played the hand the way you did, give a quick reasoning. So, if you play a hand that qualifies over the weekend, post it here and share the joy. Weekend starts now and runs through Sunday night. Let the stacking commence! [/ QUOTE ] Only one hand for me today.. so far. Serious beat. I haven't won a stack in the last 3k hands that hasn't been AIPF. I write physics tomorrow and then will inundate this thread with post exam stackage.

[ QUOTE ]
Can't say I like your turn shove felix, what was your thought process? [/ QUOTE ] Well, villain here was not very good, first off. Therefore, when he 3-bet me, I assumed either air, AK, or JJ+. So I don't want to inflate the pot with QQ here, obviously. On the flop, it's a standard CB, so a case could be made to either b/3b or c/r, but decided to let a card come off first. On the turn, YACHTZEE! I'm hoping either AKh or AKc or an overpair at this point, or possibly it was air preflop, but he his a 6. If he doesn't have any of that, he could think I'm trying to steal, representing a 6. Against the specific villain, it made perfect sense. But in hindsight, I suppose either a crai or pushing the river if he checks behind could have been better, but it felt right at the time. /excuse |

I just feel like it lets him fold his air and call with hands that you would stack elsewhere in the hand anyways. I'd check hoping to get another bet from JJ or AK or whatever. The only hand that you really lose action from by checking the turn is AKcc really. But hey, if moran wants to call with no pair no draw and you know it, shove away.
