So I'm the drive thru today with a friend and we're getting food. Food is for me, my friend and other friend at home. Girl driving is very agg.
So we get the food for all three of us and she lives 5 min away. We don't check the food. Of course when we get home the food is wrong, and we have to go back. So my question is, is it +EV to check the bag every single time you get food in the drive thru. Or is it better to just see what happens when you get home. Is it wrong often enough to waste the time checking in the car? (3 bags of food?) (on a side note when I got back I tried to pull the threesome.) |

I usualy pull forward so the next guy can get to the window and check to make sure it's right.

sadly enough, Ive thought about this, becuse there is a [censored] taco bell near my house that NEVER EVER remembers that I specifically say "no sour cream on anything pls". It is a case by case basis Ive concluded, Ill check some places but not others.

Don't check if you don't order anything made special. But as soon as you ask to hold the pickles on your hamburger, then you'd better check.

I have to check since I'm extremely picky.

[/ QUOTE ] Yeah, any deviation seems to short circuit their brain, and the order will be messed up. I know a girl who is real bad about this. Cannot order anything straight off the menu, and gets really pissed when the order is messed up. So one day I take her to the drive thru and she starts with something really stupid like telling the guy she wants the cheesburger with tomato, "but not a really big tomato, like two small slices" ... At that point I just put the car in gear and drive off. |

more food = more need to check
special order = check unless you really don't care |

I pull ahead so the next guy can get to the window. I check to see if all my stuff is there. If they made my double cheeseburger wrong (I only get pickles and cheese), then that's the risk I take going to MCD's. But I remember I got a whole different order one time and had to go back in to get my stuff.
Yea, always check your stuff. |
