Default HU SNGs and Degenerate Gamblers

I have noticed that some of the truly awful degenerate gambler types tend to play a lot of heads up SNGs. It seems like a very high percentage of people with awful Sharkscope stats (e.g., -25% ROI and several k in losses) tend to play a lot of HU SNGs. I started playing some HU SNGs after I noticed this and I am amazed how bad the play is.

Any ideas on why bad players are attracted to HU SNGs? My theory is that the bad players like it because they win every so ofter whereas they almost never cash in full table SNGs.
