I'm 36 and I'm still wondering when I'm going to be an adult.

I will turn ... 39 this year.

I think I'm just starting to figure out what the hell it's all about.

My father in law says he didn't really think he much of a handle on things until his 50s.

35? it's the tip of the iceberg man. One thing I really noticed is, I have to do a lot more work to say in decent shape. Playing basketball ocassionally with guys a lot younger than me lets me know just how out of shape I am, and I swim laps, play bball and softball, etc.

Oh, and an inspiration for ya. My dad is 70. I skiied with him this year, he's in great shape. I have a picture of him at 68, on skiis catching air over the lip of a halfpipe. I think in a lot of ways, I'm like my dad, but for as self-confident, unafraid of trying new things, and unconcerned with what the F*** people think about me, my Dad is twice that, at twice my age.

I still feel (and act sometimes) like a kid.

Yeah, F it. 35, I feel like I'm just starting to figure [censored] out.
