Default 2-5NL Live Win Rate

what do you think the monthly income is for a winning 2-5 NL live player if he is playing a solid 40 hours a week.

That would be pretty standard. There are people that could do MUCH better with the right game though. And of course, the other 80-90% that loose consistently.

This, actually, is a pretty good estimate, I think. And $25 an hour in Vegas won't get you all that far if that's all you're doing. If you average out around 40 hours per week, that's about 50K a year. Not bad, but in a place like Vegas, that can go really, really fast after expenses.

I live in LV and I totally disagree with this. You can live quite comfortably on 50k a year. You won't be all Rocks and Rings with Antonio or anything, but you can get along fine while you grow your bankroll to play higher.

I agree, 50K cash is right around a 75k/year job after uncle sam takes his cut. Good money for this limit/risk IMO.

But, of course, if it's your sole source of income you are surely reporting it and paying taxes on the 50k.

Just make sure you pay your taxes. Finding a roomate would be helpful, too.

That is all.
