Default Badugi - 7 or 8 handed?

Apparently the Bellagio decided Badugi is to be played 8 handed. Wynn fell in line - both mixed games last night played it 8. Down at GVR we've stuck with 7. What does the rest of the world think?

Wynn fell in line, then reversed it's decision already - it will be 7 handed for now on because the stub has to be shuffled too often with 8 handed games.

It seems like it could become a boring nit-fest 8-handed. Not that there's much danger of that in live Badugi right now, by all reports.

An 8-handed game is probably better for a mix, though I dislike it, because it might lead to less popularity for 2-7 TD since it has to be played shorter. And because I don't think I'd enjoy it very much since it becomes correct to get even rockier.
