Blackjack on the ship , 7 day cruise
Recently I had the pleasure of a 7 day cruise on a large ship. The ship had a full casino and 5 blackjack tables.
My experience was that almost everybody was a winner at blackjack for the first two days. The next few days seemed approximately what I expected. Then on the last night I saw huge amounts dumped back to the casino and horrible cards for the players.
Something else is that there was one table where the casino admitted in the rules of the game that there were fewer high cards in the shoe, in return for the dealer showing both cards face up so you knew what you had to beat.
If you were running that casino, and you had no ethics, would you rig the blackjack on the last night to boost profits ?
