Advertising on Myspace

Ok, i've decided that im going to begin using MySpace to advertise with. So far i've created an account, but i need to know a few things.
1. When choosing a picture to use, do you just look for a hot girl on google?
2. Anyone know any good friend adders
3. Any other tips (IE: should i add a song, certain background)?

I use badder adder.
I exchange banners with other myspace advertisers. One thing that took me a while to realize is that posting bulletins with interesting titles and interesting conent is the best way to get page views from the friends you already have. Leaving comments is the best way to get put in someones top 8. All of these things can be automated.
