Default Trying to establish a Earn rate... how many hours to get a real one?

I am doing a test. I have recorded 34 hours of internet play at 2/4 limit. I am averaging $16.51 per hr. or 4.1 BB per hour per table.

How many hours before the earn rate is legit? What do the books say ? thanks in advance for any info.

It depends on how many hand its over. The more hands the more accurate your rate. 50K hands should give you a good idea. 100K would be better.

34 hours equals around 2000 hands. I am playing a full ring of 10 players.

i would say you need about 200k hands to actually determine a winrate. after 50k hands you basically know whether or not you are a winner in the game.

In limit I seriously think 50k hands is too few to establish if you are a winner, but whatever you have at each point is your best guess.

playing 10 handed limit i think 50k hands will determine if you are a winner or not.
