Default 50NL Missed Turn C/R - now what?

Villian floats. Has AF 5 and is vpip 55. I c/r'd him on the turn with a mad hand earlier which he folded to.

I was going for the c/r again here, but he didn't bet.

On the river, I figured I wasn't getting much from most hands if I bet big, so I decided to lead for only half to induce or get 2pr/bluff to raise and then I would push.

What do you do on the river after missed turn c/r ?

I'm not crazy about the turn c/r but w/e. My experience with these hyper agro guys is that they'll just raise my bets anyway, so I don't need to check. Anyway, there's no way you can give him credit for runner runner flush, so stick it in and hope he was being his normal lagtard self.

It'd be great if you didn't waste space by posting.

So you don't c/r the turn with floaters? What do you do with floaters - just leave the table?

Anyway, my question is specific to the river.

No. I bet. This line is asinine. You raise PF with a mediocre hand.

You bet the flop with an OESD... You make it and then you're going to check and hope someone bets it for you? This is horrible.

Re: The river- Who the hell knows? You gave a flush draw infinite odds to hit on the turn and we have no idea what someone's raising you with on the river.

I don't know that I like your reraise. I'd call his reraise.

I'm trying to figure out what he has here with AF 5 but limp pf. What's his PFR? 33, A3, A4...

I think you can bet 3/4 or pot on river. He'll call/raise w/ Ax/2 pair/set. You stacked so it doesn't matter, but bet more for the times he's just calling.

KQs is a mediocre hand? Are you kidding me?
And you wouldn't c-bet with an oesd? Are you kidding again?

Seriously - wtf are you talking about?

And do you even understand the concept of the c/r?

I don't understand how u can have so many posts and say such bullsh!t like you've never actually played poker.

I agree w/ Kurto. You said you c/r'd him off a hand on the turn earlier, so why would he try it again?

I am not kidding you. KQs oop is mediocre.

I didn't say that. I said your line of bettting the OESD and THEN checking when it got there was horrible.

I would have bet all 3 streets.

I've never even heard of it.

[/ QUOTE ] It helps that you apparently can't understand what I was saying.

Please continue to check OOP after making your draw. That will certainly maximize your reward. BET when behind... check when you hit your draw.

And then freak out when people suggest your line isn't the best! Cool!
