Default Update about how things are at Party after the US-players went away

I just came of an 8-tabling 7 hr session at Party.

The single biggest difference I noticed after the US-players left, besides that the player base was cut in half, was that there were extremely little trashtalking and bashing going on.

During my 7 hrs (56 table hrs) there was only 1 single occurance when a player went after another one in the chat.

Making 921BB's at the NL tables was just an added bonus. Hopefully the games will stay soft and without constant trash talk. I was a little bit worried about the ban on US players but maybe it will come out alright after all.

I've just run across only one trash talker today too. Danish guy bashing Israel.

I two tabled some 5/10 limit there for a few hours. Apart from the lack of players...

Yep, very little trash talk. Quite a change.

I know I have a very small sample size, but do the games seem quite a bit softer?

As far as politeness at the tables go you will find that it will be alot better. Ladbrokes which has always been non us always had the best community feel of any site i have been on.

But hell im not in this game for people being nice to me, the mighty dollar is much more important than some american fish questioning my parenthood.

The games seemed softer to me aswell although I ran good. I'm basing it on the fact that I was able to stack more players than usual when they called with toppair/weak kicker and similar stuff. Haven't seen those "funny" calls at this frequency in quite some time at Party. The poker boom is back .

Glad you think so. I was about to sit at one of the $5/10NL tables I was on the waiting list for. Until I noticed the average pot was $23....

If the games actually are softer, let's see how long it lasts. I get a feeling they could easily allow U.S. customers back to their site before too long...
