Default Howard Lederer Comment on PSIII

On this week's Poker Superstars III in the 4 handed quarterfinals, Mike Matusow is catching cards and hasn't lost a pot within the first 20 minutes of the show. He was quiet during this period, but suddenly he has one of his laughing out loud outbursts after winning a pot, and Chris Rose comments that he's happy he's finally "opening up." Then Howard comments:

"He's enjoying himself. We haven't seen him lose a pot yet tonight. When the cards are going your way you can look like a genius. Certainly Mike's looking that way tonight, which is pretty amazing when you think about it."

Didn't know everyone was so down on PSIII. I'll try harder next time.

I watch it from time to time. The problem is the format of the early shows is what most hate about TV poker, with everyone having to push and hope to win their hand. I think the Speed Poker format, minus the annoying stage show, would be a good format for Poker Superstars.

It's into the playoffs now, which are usually pretty good.

Yeah I loved the comment. I've seen a couple PSIII episodes where Mike's spewn a lot of extreme hatred towards Gus Hansen. What's up? Nothing worse than seeing a [censored] poker player combined with an annoying whiner. [censored] I hate Mike Matusow.

Mike just does it to talk trash and get in people's heads as he does with everyone. He always jokes around with Gus about being a lucky poker player and that he might not ever win a tournament again. Have you not seen Mike Matusow on tv at all in the past 3 years?
