Default European poker rooms?

Are there any high volume poker rooms, that have a overwhelming European player base? My thinking is that the fish in Europe aren't going to be disappearing over there, so wouldn't it make sense to play where there will still be a good amount of bad players. Let me know if this makes sense, and why it would or wouldn't be a good alternative given the current situation.

Hi leomerr,
Everest Poker is a primarily European room. We do not accept US players, and did not even before last weeks ruling.

Regarding our traffic, Pokersitescout.com currently has us ranked as the 7th biggest site/network in the world, ahead of other names you probably know much better than us. We have no skins and are a part of no network - Everest Poker is a 100% independent room in this regard.

Best,

Everest Poker

Nice add .. but unfortunately you do not have an EU licence, which actually makes you uninteresting to many european players

Hi Gelford,
This is a complaint we have heard from our players, and is something we hope to have resolved in the near future.

Everest Poker

(PS I realize this looks like spam from us, but I can assure you it is not. If we were going to spam, I think we'd be better off spamming in a forum filled with European players looking for a new room - not Americans who are now unfortunately looking for new places to play)

(not that we ever do spam!)

Many european rooms are folowing similar tracks and either are localised not taking US players already or will soon do so (cryptologic based sites like william Hill).

Its not fun getting arrested when you visit the US if all you did was run a (too) popular business in your own country.

I am UK based and will join up when you get licensed - do you keep players' money in trust accounts btw?
