Default bankroll management

what kind of bankroll should you have for playing 1-2 nl live, what about 2-5 nl? I currently have 2k and playing 1-2 mostly

2k is plenty for 2-5 NL u could almost do 5/10 if u are conservative player

This is probably better-suited to the Beginners forum, but no one knows there is a Beginners forum....

If you can never replenish the money the I would certainly suggest you buy in for less than $100 (= 20 buy-in BR). At live $1-2 you'll probably be fine because the play is so abysmal, but you don't want variance to put you down 10 buy-ins or something and have you playing as scared money.

I wouldn't play $2-5 as a bread-and-butter game until you reach $3-4k, and then only if you like playing with a short $100 stack.
