Early in the tourney, it's unlikely you've set up an image in regards to your tendencies on continuation bets, so that aspect can almost be ignored in the evaluation.
Here's what I see: I non-coordinated board unlikely to help your opponents. Minus a read that your opponent is calling with air, I don't see any way to extract by leading out here, so I check this flop and don't mind giving up a free card, because I think that you're folding out your opponents with this bet almost every time (none of them are likely to have a jack, no straight or flush draws). You have a hand strong enough for slowplaying, and no possible card on the turn is likely to improve your opponent to anything but second-best. I check/call this flop, and hope the turn comes an offsuit ace. Edit: I've seen players in the 1$ tourneys call with ace high here assuming you're trying to steal on a harmless board, if you have any indication that either of these villians are that much of a calling station, then leading this flop is fine. |

I like the bet, you gotta bait the hook. With two callers maybe one will play with you. Check the turn and if one came along maybe you can get some nice chips in the middle on the river if your opponent's hand 'improves'. If you plan on making continuation bets with regularity then why not start on this hand, otherwise folks might get suspicious later when you wnat them to fold
Of course there's a good chance you wont get any action by betting here.. But you might end up with a big score if you bet / check / bet flop/turn/river as opposed to a little less action by playing passive. for 1.20, who knows, they will probably both reraise you no matter what you do on the flop |

You're only enemy is somebody playing low connected suited. They probably dont have much of a hand no matter what so I say keep it easy and hope they improve their hands later. If you got a table where they're going to the end with everything though, I'd bet it out.

As much as I hate to slowplay, there is a time and place for it. Uncoordinated rainbow flop with top set?
It's the time. It's the place. |
