Yes. I purchased a deck of "signature" copags. They don't seem to make them any more. The "Copag" name is on the back of the deck. When I was shopping for them over a year ago, I read somewhere that they were the best that Copag made; that they did not bend or bow. Well, they have not bent or bowed, but the faces are fading and the border of the design on the back is fading away. It rubs off. They also are very slick on the table. They slide all over the place.
I play on my dining room table, which is cherry wood. I don't use any kind of felt table cloth. I thought it might have something to do with the table top that I play on. But I've read other posts here and on other message boards from people complaining about copags fading. My blue deck has faded much more than the red. Someone suggested contacting Copag to see if the company will replace it. I guess there is a reason that KEM costs more. I also purchased a deck of Del Negros. |

Just this weekend I was playing with my favorite deck of Copags and one of the other players notice the color from the face cards was bleeding through to the back.
I never noticed it but when we looked at all of them there was a large number doing the same thing on 2 decks. |

[/ QUOTE ] I had a bad run in the last two months and ruined six decks of copags by leaving them in my car on hot days. On some, the face cards bled through as you described and on others they warped into oblivion. |

Yeah, I have had a few sets up Copags in the past, they all faded at some point. Not sure if its the matte finish or what. Next time I'll probably just pay the extra cash and get the KEMs. They seem to hold up a little better.

Whenever I go to a casino that uses Copags I always notice a lot more fading than ones that use Kems.

So this happens to all Copags or just certain types? I have the blue/red decks with jumbo index. Also i agree with the sliding, often times i play on a table without felt and it gets annoying, less a problem with Kems or other brands?

I had Kems before Copags and they fade over time as well. In my experience, Kems fade at the same rate as Copags.

I've never had Copags, but I have some Kems, and the faces of those are fading badly. I'm going on about 2 1/2 years of playing weekly with them.
I was planning on getting Copags next to see how they held up instead. |
