Not sure if this thread belongs in BBV (if not, pls feel free to move it), but I stuck it here b/c it contains a mini-brag:
Lately it seems I've stacked someone every time I've had black ducks (2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]). Most recently was Saturday live for a $400 profit and yesterday on FT for just short of 150 BB. (I also turned a flopped nut flush into a straight flush live Sat., but that's another story). This got me to thinking: certain well-known poker players have starting hands associated with them or are generally known as "their" hand. Exs.: 10-2o (Doyle Brunson); 10-7o (Negreanu's favorite); 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (Hellmuth). I'm thinking of "adopting" the black ducks as my personal favorite starting hand. Do others have favorite hands that would be interesting, and potentially have more entertaining backstories than mine? I'm not talking about monster hands like AA or KK, unless of course they have an entertaining backstory relating to hookers and/or blow.
