Closer to 100%. Can't gain any information with a check.

I lawerned new secret trick against random pepole. You can bet extremely small amount and they fold a lot. I keep doing it with monsters, raising PF...pot has 900 in it, I bet 200 into 2 opponents and they both instafold. Happened to me over and over, so I figure you may as well do it 100% of the time in spots like this against random opponents. I mean at absolute worst bet 200 and see what happens, there is almost no chance that they don't fold enough to make it a +EV bet.

Against random people I do it 100% of the time, and almost always make it 1/2 pot. I was interested in curtains comment. Could a smaller amount be better? An interesting thought.

FWIW I HAVE been betting 100% here against a random. Just didn't feel right.

I definitely will try the smaller bet thing out. It sucks when it feels like I get check-raised half of the time and then I'm left with half of my stack.

Turn it around now. If you are UTG-1 and CO just put a $200 bet into a $850 pot, what is your range?

Unless I have some sort of read, I'm almost always throwing a bet out here when I'm in position.

I'm a little less enthusiastic about what to do in this spot when we are in early position and we get called from the CO/Button. Thoughts?

100% of the time... it is actually not too bad a flop as long as he didn't hit a queen. In a cash game I would say bet 3/4 the pot. In a sit and go bet closer to 1/2 the pot.

I don't mind this every once in awhile but I don't want to have my continuation bets floated too much also. The cash game forums seem to reccommend always betting 3/4-1 of the pot. Curtains, do you know why the strategies are so divergent for cash games and sngs? I'm not too sure myself but I sort of think I understand it.

Deeper stacks => more implied odds => more need to make people pay to draw. (EDIT: Also more need to pump the pot early and often if you want to stack somebody.)
