MP1 has Jc Jh (two pair, jacks and fives). Outcome: MP1 wins t7230. </font> I pushed, reasoning the following: 1) Everyone limped, so I highly doubt I'm against AA/KK and therefore on the short end of a coinflip at worst. 2) I was hoping a push like that would smell like a misguided steal attempt, and get some loose calls. 3) The CL at the table (three to my left) had a VP$IP around 60; see #2. Two calls and a no-help board later, I'm out thanks to the loose CL having jacks. Was it a foolish idea to begin with, or am I being results-oriented and made a decent play? Also, how much should I have raised? Edit:: found the HH |
