Stars 20/180, Near Bubble, Push pre-flop?

Hi,

I've been following the MTT forum for a couple of months now and have found it to be a great help. Think the quality of some of the posts is outstanding.

However as a newb I'd really appreciate it if someone could tell me whether I played this hand as badly as I think I did.....constructive criticism preferred [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

Down to the last three tables of a Stars 20/180 but I've recently been moved and have no specific reads.

Is it fair to say that I should have pushed pre-flop?

Flop: (t5350) 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
UTG+1 checks, Hero bets t4140 (All-In), UTG+1 calls t4140.

Turn: (t13630) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players, 1 all-in)

River: (t13630) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players, 1 all-in)

Final Pot: t13630

Can't get the converter to show the villain's hand but he had 88.

yeah. either push or fold preflop when villain has already open/raised and you have 15bb's. Nothing wrong with folding here, but I'd probably jam it in here.

I think all things being equal, without a ready that UTG+1 is tight and his range is like AJ+,TT+ than I think folding here is bad. I'd push here.
