Default Magic the Gathering Cards

I recently discovered my long lost collection of MtG cards that I had in elementary school. I was bored so I decided to price the uncommon and rare ones using this site, price guide . I have a couple questions.

1. Are there actually people who would still purchase these? They are all in good condition.

2 According to the price guide I posted, the value of the rare and uncommon cards I have is about $240. If some place would purchase these, what kind of money should I actually expect to get?

Any help would be appreciated.

Ebay might be your best bet to sell them.

Don't bother dude, seriously. If the price guide says your rares and uncommons are only worth $240, this won't be worth your while because you won't get anything near that much.

Ebay will give you a current market price better than any online stores or magazines like Scrye or Inquest.

If you are selling to a store, expect to get less than half what any price guide says in cash, and that's only if they're in NM condition(ie, they've never been shuffled or played outside a sleeve).

Also, because I'm a dork and I can...

I know this used to be the case with baseball cards when I collected them. I found a lot of my old cards and thought I'd sell them on ebay for a quick buck. I bought a beckett and looking at ebay it seemed most cards sold for about 20-30% of the list price. Of course that's still gonna be $50-$75 if it holds the same for MtG cards

Yeah I know, but I really have no need for them. Even if I only get 20%-30% of the listed value I would be happy. I just don't want to go to the trouble if I'm only going to get a few bucks.
