Please stop this nonsense. I can only presume people say this to legitimise to themselves their poor bankroll skills and/or lack of poker ability. If you are sensible and good at poker, you will not go bust, barring extraordinary cirumstances requiring you to withdraw sums from your bankroll for life costs. Going bust is not part of the poker playing process, there are many sensible people out there who never have and never will, please get this into your heads.

I don't think I exaggerate when I say that this is the worst thread in the history of online message boards.

This was true before internet poker came along, with internet poker, and all the new poker tools/books/etc, it is less likely to happen.

Greg Raymer and Barry Greenstein had a reasonably interesting discussion about this during the WCOOP main-event web-cast.

Dean,
If "BUSTO" means that you have exactly zero bets for any game, then I agree with you. but I think that definition doesn't really tell the whole story. |

I propose that this be replaced by the Irieguy quote..
[ QUOTE ] Everybody will eventually run worse than they thought was possible. [/ QUOTE ] I have never been busto..but I also play with 3X the BR requirement than most people |
