Default This hand will make you a worse poker player. Don\'t do what I do.

So I had a misclick on the flop. I wanted to click "fold" but I clicked raise instead. That said, sexy river? My only chance of saving face and not seeming like a total moron? Or spewage to the max? Again, I apologize for the vomit on your monitors after reading this. Opponent was weak-tightish.

I do this too much when I don't misclick. Spewing the river, that is. Is it? Her? (Bonus points if you get the reference)

Folding here is weak-tight IMO . After that its just spewing.

if he is weak tight and he is calling down then he almost has an ace 100% time, i think this is spwe.. and i don't get the reference (

river is spew.

Comments like these are why I posted. I wasn't sure if my hopeless bluff would work often enough here to be EV neutral or have a slightly +EV.

If you put the hand in a vacuum, and only look at the river, is it still spew? Probably, but that's my question.

Even in a vacuum, I think you are only folding a naked Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] or J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], so unless BB holds one of those, river is a spew. I see the point of your play (BB just taking a shot on scary flop) but it was one of thsoe times where it is just easier to fold than try to outplay someone who probably doesn't need to be outplayed.

reference = arrested development.

if you misclicked the flop, why not take up that free gutshot on the turn? i guess if you're really insistent on betting the turn, getting 6-1 on your bluff you should bet the river too on the chance that he has a flush draw and some junk pair that he's ready to fold UI.

In a blind steal like this add me to the spew list.

Hows come the coverter says (9 handed) only the format shows 7?

How often do you misclick? Just curious. It happens to me rarely but I only two and sometimes three table. Whenever I misclick it is always call/raise instead of fold though.

why not check the turn for your free shot at a 10 (hopefully untainted)? If you hit, you can make up your turn bet with a raise.

Either way, i dont like the c-bets on the turn and river because the pot is too small to warrant the bluff.

BTW, last night I mis-clicked and folded KK pre-flop. That sucked

i'm sure most of you will hate what i'm going to say, but, i really think it's true. against typical opposition, it's really not worth raising in co with q,j. before you conclude i'm surely nuts, think about it a bit. using the example given, after the flop raise is called, hero is so often toast. even connecting with the flop is no guarantee of winning with q,j. let it go. i've said it before and i'll say it for a while. the limited ability of small stakes players to fold (anything) reduces the value of steal attempts or semi-steal attempts...
