You guys following this story? I thought it was one of the most disturbing stories of the year. I mean these pieces of garbage beat a couple of homeless men to death. Well they turned themselves in. I'm always surprised when murderers turn themselves in, but it seems to happen an awful lot. I think what happens is that someone they know (a friend or family member) knows that they committed the crime (by seeing a video on TV, for instance) and tells them that they are going to turn them in if they don't surrender. They surrender at this point rather than going on the lam and getting hunted down by police. However, I'm sure that most of these guys regret not running away when they had the chance once they're sentenced to life in prison or given the death penalty.

Well unlike hollywood where killers are all geniuses most of these guys are probably dumb as [censored] and can't even begin to fathom what they would do to survive as fugitives
