Villain is loose and passive. Was I weak on the flop? [/ QUOTE ] He's got the Ace. Which you would know if you'd've been watching him. |

Yeah, the flop bet is certainly weak. If you need to c-bet here it should be 400 minimum me thinks. I don't think a check on that flop would be bad and evaluate from there. The flop after the raise is of course standdard.

I think you made the right play here. There is little chance he's bluffing you on a draw or worse pair, and if he is you must have an extremely solid read on him to make this call. In my opinion he has something like AJ or A10 suited and got a feel that you weren't holding an ace in your hand on the flop, therefore he had the best of it and pushed in on you. Should you have bet larger on the flop I'm sure he would have at least called you down to the river with his hand if not reraised.

got a feel that you weren't holding an ace in your hand on the flop [/ QUOTE ] People like this one don't put you on any hand. They just play the two cards that they are holding. |

Standard. Bet around 300-350. You're gonna lose 1/4 of your stack everytime this happens, just the way it is.
