Default HU making small pair

I don't remember much about villain, but PT sais he's 11/6/7.5/200. I'd appreciate comments on any street.

PokerStars 0.25/0.50 Hold'em (9 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Preflop: Hero is Button with 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">6 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">BB 3-bets</font>, Hero calls.

I don't think I should fold to the resteal. PokerStove says my equity here is 27% against the top 14% of hands and there is a lot of money in the pot already.

Flop: (6.40 SB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">BB bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, BB calls.

Turn: (5.20 BB) J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
BB checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">BB raises</font>, Hero calls.

Here it feels a lot like I am behind, but I think I very likely have 5 outs.

River: (9.20 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">BB bets</font>, Hero folds.

Call here because the pot is too big?

I think the preflop steal is terrible to be honest.

The flop is also terrible. Just call down.

You don't think one can steal with any 2 cards? I won so many blinds recently by stealing that I occationally steal with any 2.

Why is the flop horrible? Unless villain has an overpair I am the favorite here.

This hand looks like the poster-child for not trying to steal with 25o, except maybe with an excellent read that the blinds just won't defend.

Also, it's hard for me to imagine a player that won't defend their blinds if you've ever turned over two similar cards in a steal situation.

against this player, when he doesnt fold the turn I'm not putting anymore money in. in this particular case, that means folding the turn. even if he's semi-bluffing you, which he rarely is given his stats, he has so many outs that you are put in a losing situation if you are going to call the turn everytime (because he will mostly have a legitimate hand)

anyways, I fold PF as well, but change it to 56s or 45s and I really like your flop + turn play. I want the pot now since my hand is so vulnerable, and I dont want him thinking he can just bet into me.

From wikiquote (edited by me):

Don't steal with 52o if you're going to feel the need to keep pushing when played back at. Actually, just move the period to right after "52o" and delete the rest.

I don't think stealing with any 2 against this type is that bad. He's tight and appears to fold too much pst flop.

I think you should fold when c/r'd on the turn. You are almost certainly drawing to 5 outs against this guy and need better than 8-1 to call.

against this villian, any 2 might work. however, you need to get stats on his blind defense, not just his general PF stats. if he does adjust to steals, you are throwing money at him by raising this trash in a raked environment.

any 2 against an unknown is a terrible steal frequency.

I don't understand this. Someone with a postflop aggression of 7.5 should be semi-bluffing a lot, no?
