Default AA vs. Possible Flush Draw

- Is this the right way to prevent giving correct odds to someone on a possible flush draw? I went almost all in so he didn't have implied odds on the rest of my stack.

- Preflop I only raised to 2x the BB because I only expected 1 or 2 callers with that and 3x or more might fold the field.

= SB was 61/10/.98, loose but not very aggressive preflop, but fairly often would make very large bets/go all-in postflop.

Party Poker ($0.25 no limit). Hand converted by Check Raised hand converter

BB ($33.90) (BB)
MP ($123.87) (MP)
SB ($24.25) (SB)
HERO ($37.10) [ A A ] (UTG)
CO ($8.02) (CO)
BTN ($71.90) (BTN)

Preflop (6 players):
HERO raises $0.50. 3 folds. SB calls ($0.40). BB calls ($0.25).

Flop (6 bets ($1.5) in pot, 3 players): 5 K T
SB checks. BB checks. HERO bets $2.00. SB calls ($2.00). BB folds.

Turn (22 bets ($5.5) in pot, 2 players): 5 K T 8
SB checks. HERO bets $20.97.

Hmm..

Pf: Raise to $1.

Flop: No need to overbet, a pot-sized bet is plenty and give draws crappy odds. Would you make a similar sized cb with AQo?

Turn: Hehe, actually I like this one, looks really weird and if villain is retarded he might call with all sorts of crap, maybe even a misclick. Normally though a bet of $4-5 is sufficient for villain to make a mistake here.

I think you're getting too fancy with your pocket aces.

You're minraising preflop letting people in cheap with any crap, if you get multiple callers you better be willing to dump it.

MR + overbetting post-flop = asking for trouble.

If someone is willing to call huge bets to draw at a flush, I'll overbet though, problem is that if you're behind they're just going to let you bet without raising.

I think you'll find that villain is calling down with top pair more often than with a flush draw. We make money by having worse hands call us down, you don't want to overbet the turn, you want him to call with a weak king.

I see. Bet a little more preflop and make pot sized bets on the flop and turn. I suppose I would fold to most raises on the turn especially as a raise would probably be 2 pair or better and I wouldn't have odds to draw.

Thanks.
