i assume you are readless. don't fold a good hand getting 20:1 vs. an unknown.

his hand is obviously a flush draw. that is a very easy c/call.

uh.. I was going to say his hand is obviously a set that boated. I see this type of play with small sets all the time from other players, they are afraid that they are beat on the turn, and when they boat on the river(although nothign different really happens) they raise again. Once I get capped on the flop, I'm very worried since MP seemed to want to get in cheap pf. I probably c/c down from there, but UTG is giving us great overlay since we almost assuredly have him beat. I think a bet/call is much better than c/c on river.

This blows, but contrary to what everyone else is saying, i feel this river is a fairly easy bet/fold.

so why are you bet/calling into an (according to you) obvious full boat?

because i dont know he has a boat until he raises the river. prior to that theres a high chance he has a set. plus we have the overlay of the third player.

Because after it goes bet/call/call on the turn, no one is raising the river without improving. EVER. I mean obvioulsy it sucks to fold AA in huge pots, but anyone who raises that river will have TTT, a boat, or a flush well over 99% of the time, given the action to this point. I mean you really think KK or worse decides to raise the river AFTER the flush came in AND the decided not to raise the turn. Someone needs to have decided to do that more than 5% of the time, which just is not happening.

Also, you bet the river because the pot GINORMOUS, and anything is basically paying off here, but the pot is protected, your hand is defined, and you don't really run the risk of getting bluffed.
