DaveR: I would never be happy about getting hit with gratuity any time I go somewhere that doesn't have paper napkins. I try to be a good customer and I tip well. Getting hit with a gratuity on wine like that would have me speaking to the manager about his policy of discouraging his clients from sampling his better wines.
