[ QUOTE ] no one who claimed they'd fold AA here would actually do it [/ QUOTE ] so true, it's amazing how everyone claims they would fold but nobody that they would move in or call. pathetic. [/ QUOTE ] You're right. I change my answer. I would move in my whole $100,000 stack after the $3,000 flop lead. |

[ QUOTE ]
Preflop Limp is terrible. Every other hand is unraised/minraised 7 to the flop. Its obvious hes gonna set off a string of limpers. Post flop fold is standard if you mislclick and limp preflop. [/ QUOTE ] I agree with this depending on the stack sizes. Paul and Brian are both way deeper than 100 BBs, and if there are a few others who are very deep as well, then it makes a limp-reraise risky b/c Paul is basically turning his hand up out of position. Paul knows they know he will have AA or KK here almost always and they can use this info to put Paul in a very uncomfortable spot post-flop even if they don't flop big. On the other hand, if Paul and Brian are the only ones over 100 BB deep, then a limp-reraise makes sense if there has been a lot of preflop raising. |

If you want to talk about EV. The only play here is to fold. With 7 random hands in the equation chances of you winning with AA is marginal.

[/ QUOTE ] are you retarded [/ QUOTE ] His post makes sense. Your hand has to hold up against 7 others, and the limping action dictates that you can't get much money into the pot unless you're beat. |
