Default Re: Top10 college teams (10/4/2006)

Here's my list

1. Ohio State
2. Florida
3. Michigan
4. Louisville
5. USC (don't blame me--they're the college version of the patriots right now winning every game by like 7 points--which is extremely unimpressive against washington and arizona. Looks a lot like that team that shouldn't really have gotten into the title game--then gets blown out.

6. West Virginia
7. Texas
8. Tennessee
9. Auburn (can't see them beating UF though so they will have to drop next week)
10. wait a sec, how am I not even considering an ACC team here--talk about teams that shouldn't get into BCS games right now...

anyway
10. looks like Cal for now.

Could be another 04 since I can't see how the big 10/big east winners won't run the table and possibly another (but then again HOW many teams have we seen end up faltering over the years to weaker teams at the end--oh yeah it's most of them)

I think anybody who has WV or Louisville in their top 5 is smoking crack. Line either one of them up against some of the teams I see people ranking below them like Tennessee, Texas, Oregon, etc. and they get physically dominated...just worn out. Nevermind what happens to them if they play OSU, Michigan, or Florida.

i'm suprised at how many people rank Michigan > Florida, but it really doesn't matter... both teams control their own destiny now.

This is impossible

why?

[/ QUOTE ]

Because I'm the idiot who didn't think far enough ahead to the UM/OSU game.

It was 38-35 if memory serves. I think this is the first time I have heard a 3 point win using the term "destroyed." What would a 5 point win have been?

I know their personal so I'm not criticizing, just voicing opinion. I think UT should be ahead of the UTexas. I know Texas' only loss was to OSU but I really feel UT is the better team.

Rutgers, I'm from Jersey, have rooted for RU my entire life and this is a storybook season for us Jersey kids. But, they haven't earned top 20 just yet. Let them beat Navy, who isn't that bad, and I'll agree. But I am ecstatic with their season this year.
