man u really don't read well do you? english is not your first language clearly.

BTW using P5s as "unanimous" evidence of a fold really doesn't convince me.

That forum is almost unanimous in it being a fold.

notice the word THAT in front of the sentence? It means almost all of the responses on P5s say fold.

that is a far far cry from me saying there is "unanimous evidence" for a fold.

Here is a fact. You are ahead of villains range here. His range could be as wide as any 2 if he's nutso, if he's just a loose pusher its Ax, any pair, any 2 broadway etc. If he's a normal pusher, his range is most aces, suited broadways, pairs, etc.

So if one of the fold advocates would like to say that his real range is AJ+ 88+ or soemthing like that, then well, sure.

Ok, I apparently have to rewrite my statement for you, since reading it twice didn't help you, I guess. Amended statement below:

Stating that P5s is nearly unanimous in support of a fold and using that as evidence that this situation is, in fact, a fold does not convince me that AQ should be folded here.

I understand all the range of hands issues.

But is this a spot where I'm better off not risking 1/2 of a huge stack, and picking better spots to continue to accumulate?

with 3rd place stack people fear me and I should be able to bully the table with near impunity. with a below avg stack that is no longer the case.

We understand what you're asking and as a forum we have repeatedly (and pretty much unanimously) answered NO. Would you like to ask the question again?

So what you're saying is, the combination of our stack size and villain's hand strength means we should fold, right?

The p5's thread is here if anyone's interested. I'm about to read it but was curious...sobedude, are you nsxt2?

edit: Next time I'll read the thread first...forget my question.

edit2: If AQ is an "absolutely INSTAFOLD" for nsxt2, wtf is his calling range? He must get absolutely run over late in tourneys...and yet I know he's a successful player so that must not be the case...someone explain.

Steve
