I could easily be one of those guys who underestimate the mid-high forum

But a majority of the mid-high posters haven't played 5-10, so I'm not sure how much help they can give to 5-10 hands. I dunno

So basically I've been made to feel unwelcome in the high stakes forums, because I want to post 'simple' hands that to you guys may seem rediculously easy. I have just started playing 5-10 and it seems to be very different from 2-4. I don't know all the 'simple/standard' lines yet

So I've basically decided never to post anything about strategy, even if I move up limits in the future. Plus, a fair amount of you guys can be pricks, and I don't enjoy interacting with you. I could grow some 'thick skin', but IMO that is basically saying 'become an insesitive prick like us!'

I'll lurk and continue to read the archives though

what's noticeable is that all poker forum sites have the same issues although 2+2 has them the worst as it's the biggest

on BTP (where admittedly we have a ridiculously active no. of mods for a community of only 1200 people) we created a 'low content/bad beats' forum some time ago and actively move 'obvious' posts over there..we are also pretty fascist when it comes to clamping down on spam or abuse

the 6 max/full ring splitting is one thing we've talked about but never done - perhaps we should try to insist on FR or 6M in the post title - or maybe set up separate 'comment on hands' forums for both..

we are also having effectively the same discussion about separating out different limit posts -though oirs is about the $50NL games and below - at the moment the number of posters is sufficiently small that the feeling is we'd rather keep the family atmosphere of all together in the same forum - but if we grow much more I can see it becoming a bigger issue..
