Kournikova was hot and she won a bunch of titles in doubles. Ng is a 6.5 at best and has a handful of middling cashes after playing in every major tournament.

Kournikova's doubles results > Evy's cash game results, IMO.

Calling Kournikova an unaccomplished player is flat out ignorant. She has 2 grand slam doubles titles and reached two GS other finals in mixed doubles. She was the #1 ranked doubles player in the world in 1999. When people try to compare anyone to her as someone who is hot but not accomplished, it's just plain stupid.

That is true...ppl don't give Anna enough credit...I mean yes all that fame probably isn't warranted...with that Anna-mania...but she was a child prodigy growing up. I remember some 14-15 year old girl playing steffi graf in the 4th round of the US Open..and it was her.
