He's not??? You think he is losing? When they play the big game at Bellagio its not all Holdem. They play like 100 different games, some of which even the above average poker fan has no clue about.
Best Holdem player: Possibly Best:Tourney Holdem: No question |

i hope this is a leveling thread, he isnt even in the top 1000 best cash game players, probably not the top 15,000. So he is nowhere near the best NLHE player, you could say that he is one of the top live NLHE tourney players of all time, he beats weak fields and plays all tournies.

wpt is not phils specialty , he is not an expert at the pre flop all in game , he wants to use his post flop skills to win, not hope to win coin flips all in world series actually allows some play [/ QUOTE ] You are an idiot. |

[/ QUOTE ] I don't think Hellmuth plays that many tournaments. The players who play in a lot of tournaments are the ones who mysteriously show up on the Cardplayer leaderboard every year: Men the Master, John Phan, David Pham, Michael Mizrachi, and yes, Nam Le and JC Tran. They accumulate CP points by winning weekly (many in CA) and preliminaries that most of the "top pros" don't play in. |

I am a better player than Phil you will all see that one day, but I must say I am very impressed with all that is Phil Hellmuth. The way he talks and sets up his image and uses it to own awful weak tight players is outstanding. It's just that against good thinking players he has too many fundamental leaks. Fortunately for him there are plenty of players at every table in every WSOP event who are scared to risk their tournament life and scared to play in a pot with him.

Yes and Nam Le. And I would rank both of them above Phil. Wouldn't you? [/ QUOTE ] I don't think JC or Nam are even close to Phil at NLHE Live Tournies. JC might be close. Nam, not even remotely close. |
