I don't think the lower buy in players should feel excluded by this at all. If they want to read the high stakes forum and ask questions, i doubt people will mind answering them in the appropriate thread. To be honest, it can get hard for a higher buy in player to comment on a low buy in hand because the expected actions from the players and the patterns can be of enormous difference.

This is about organization, not exclusion.

badgerpro also nailing it. That'd be sweet if you could try to get something done administratively.

you just seem to be defending ignoring someone like me - trying to build a bankroll and get better but i run so terribly in the micros i cant even build a roll. i know most wouldnt believe the running bad is the reason, but its a clear reason, i know there are leaks, but its just reeealy bad. but only because i dont have as much money, i dont have a say or somethin.

You are obviously a beginner and there is nothing wrong with that and it's good to see you are working on your game and trying to get better.

I think the main reason that many people are dismissing your comments is not because you don't have a bigger bankroll but because you are relatively new to the forums. This doesn't make you wrong at all. I do think that you are drastically overestimating the effect the split will have on the advice you get.

Well put bond, I think this is where people may be getting confused as to what the split would do.

Haha ok. Yea sorry about that today, just wanted some help. I understand bigballz's point about having to weed through the posts so I would support this. Also I do read everyday even when I dont post hands, I just dont respond mostly because I dont know what Im doing in most situations, so I hoping thats not aimed at me or whatever but it doesnt matter. It would be more organized and yes the highstakes players wouldnt post in our forum but as somoene already said, they dont anyways, as most of my posts are responded to by fellow 4/180 players. So yea go ahead and do it and Ill post all I want in the lowstakes hehe.

[/ QUOTE ]

def not aim'ed at you as you did nothing wrong and don't need to apologize, it just illustrated the need for a split.

How are you possibly being hurt by this?

Read the high stakes threads, learn the concepts, profit.

This split will certainly make it a better enviornment for some higher stakes threads, and there will still be plenty of discussion in the lower levels. All the people playing them can discuss the intracacies of the smaller buyins, and learn things on your own; all the while reading the higher stakes for better theory.

not a beginner per se...despite registration date, ive been on 2p2 forums for a while (i guess at least a year or so), and playing poker since 02.

i just cant see the positives of it, when people generally act like microplayers opinions dont matter, so they ignore, so they cant get better

also, it might be basic to you, but not to them. it wouldnt hurt, even just a few words, for them to know what should be done

Your development as a player is up to you. Most people here want to get better and help the players around them get better but at the end of the day it's up to you.

Edit: I guess what I'm trying to say is I don't understand why you feel players should feel obligated to go out of there way to help you.

i dont expect em to help me, im hardly even posting hands in MTTS, im more the replier. but i dont see why they cant help a newer player, maybe only every once in a while, it can help the forum environment overall i believe.
