Im sure there is fairly blatant collusion that goes on in any high stakes sngs...I remember a sng a while back on pokerxfactor where johnnybax got hu with someone...sheets, if i remember right, where he said they agree to always chop when they get hu or something and they made sure to get all in on first hand once hu. Welcome to pokerstars.

im not sure your example is at all immoral, since they are the only 2 involved since the only ppl losing EV are doing so willingly. Its basically like playing a flippament as long as they played it straight until 2 handed.

Except now they're specifically playing to get either 1st or 2nd and likely never calling each others pushes since they give up huge chunks of EV by playing pots with each other.

No, it's still bad. Since they are chopping if they get HU they don't care what their chipcounts are, just that they are only only two left. That will influence their play all the way down to like 6 handed.

well i was only being partially serious, but i do think that having the wsop me winner telling his hand and otherwise colluding with people at the table he "liked" (see the"top top" thread in televised poker) has maybe made people a little more stupid as to whats acceptable at a poker table
