[ QUOTE ] no I wasn't, I honestly thought you were considering going pro. Not meant to be sarcastic/rude [/ QUOTE ] I didn't think so, was just checking. I'm not going pro, I think I joked about it a few times. I do plan to play the next 3 months(summer) as if I was pro though. I don't know if that classifies me as a pro. I'm working on a ring coach and probably going to be playing about 150+ sngs a day + lots of rigged mtts. [/ QUOTE ] A couple of others have made one liner comments on this, but I figured I'd give some constructive feedback on this. Take it for what it's worth (probably not much). You need to set a more realistic goal here in terms of volume or you're going to be setting yourself up for disappointment. Even the true sng monsters consider 2k sngs a month to be pretty substantial volume, which is 100 games a day for 20 days. VERY few people are capable of putting in 150 games a day for an entire month without going batshit crazy, and the number that can do so without losing money can probably be counted on your fingers and toes. To set that up as a goal while simultaneously working on your cash game and playing "lots" of MTTs is not the best way to get started. Goals should be aggressive, but they should also be attainable and I personally think you're setting the bar a bit too high. Try talking to bigjoe, z32 or spacegravy about their experience in this area and get their feedback. They all play a [censored] of sngs while also dipping into donkaments and could be a valuable source of info. |

Our parents didn't even pay for the wedding, much less the house to live in after it.
