Exactly. I agree they are a joke, but at the same time, it would be pretty awesome to be able to show people you are one of the top players in the world.

Well, I don't think it means you're "one of the top players in the world." It means you're one of the most accomplished daily online tournament poker players in the world (in the last few months to a year). I think there's a big difference. 90% of the list would get killed in the average 50/100 NL game on UB. Only Ozzy and maybe a few others would even survive.
