to me, the only thing making a high stakes MTT forum wuold do is to give them a better reason to pat themselves on the back.

straightforward doesnt work as well as you think though.

I'll put in a word with the higher ups and we'll see what happens.

I still don't think they will vote you in for Mod.

My earlier comment being said, I completely understand why people want one. I probably would too if I only played 109s+. Especially given the threads today.../sigh/.

yea ty markbris for inspiring me to finally make this post

Well. I just flipped back over to STT. I like Mark, but I agree. You just can't post every hand you have a question about. Just fills the forum up with stuff no one cares about. I hope I get a big score soon. :/

as you said, splitting the forums would only increase the elitism. pretty unhealthy, as a lot of people around act like helping a micro player will dumb them down

[/ QUOTE ]

the majority of 2+2ers are selfish and here to better their own games. This would include disucssing hands with people who play similar stakes with you. You are sounding more selfish than anyone right now with your argument that the top players wont help you anymore.

speak for yourself but the only 2p2'ers i've met and talk to on aim from MTTc are nice and don't seem to care only about themselves. as far as the splitting up MTT strat forum goes, seems like a good idea to me.

youre right, everyone who first comes into poker should know everything. what was he thinking?

lol it had nothing to do with the content of his threads, i didn't even read them. It had to do with me opening up the mtt forum looking for some interesting hands and seeing the most recent 10 posts 4/180 hands all from the same guy. Not saying don't post so many hands, just that a lot of people would rather not have to weed through it.

im not even speaking for myself, I almost never post hands. I just enjoy the discussion.

it was more aimed at the lowerstakes players who come here and just post questions about their own hands only to not return until they have another question

you just seem to be defending ignoring someone like me - trying to build a bankroll and get better but i run so terribly in the micros i cant even build a roll. i know most wouldnt believe the running bad is the reason, but its a clear reason, i know there are leaks, but its just reeealy bad, been on a serious downswing for a while now, and yes i review my game.. but only because i dont have as much money, i dont have a say or somethin.

I think many of the people in MTTc don't visit the MTTs forum much because it is filled with many lower stakes posts that have decisions that are fairly basic for us.

If there were a high stakes only forum I would definitely start to post hands and be more active again as I think a lot of others would also.

Haha ok. Yea sorry about that today, just wanted some help. I understand bigballz's point about having to weed through the posts so I would support this. Also I do read everyday even when I dont post hands, I just dont respond mostly because I dont know what Im doing in most situations, so I hoping thats not aimed at me or whatever but it doesnt matter. It would be more organized and yes the highstakes players wouldnt post in our forum but as somoene already said, they dont anyways, as most of my posts are responded to by fellow 4/180 players. So yea go ahead and do it and Ill post all I want in the lowstakes hehe.
