He was commenting on Brian's body language, saying that Brian was giving away the strength of his hands with it. Frankly considering the display of donkishness that Sammy was putting on at the time I seriously doubt whether Brian cares about his opinion but I'm not 100% sure that Sammy he was wrong in his observations.

Todd leads better than a pair here like never?

[/ QUOTE ]

I think OOP and with a strong hand, you'd need to bet out against the flush and straight draws. Or atleast C/R, but that's never a guarantee.

Why wouldn't he lead out with better than a pair?

[/ QUOTE ]

Because he's a huge fish.

Cant see doing anything but mucking here.

Really? Floating the SB's bet is out of the question?

[/ QUOTE ]

why call that floating? it's just a call.

[/ QUOTE ]

floating is always "just a call" but my understanding was that it connoted "calling to see what other action develops," which is why I used it. Now that we're done quibbling over semantics, do you have an opinion?

[/ QUOTE ]

The accepted definition here is calling with the intention of stealing the pot later... AKA bluff calling.

There was a gigantic thread involving DS playing aces like this somewhere a while ago. I don't see anything else he can do after the limp when SB bets into 6 people.

[/ QUOTE ]

When I read OP, I immediately thought of the Sklansky thread. I then spent about 20 minutes searching for it and could not find it.

Can anyone else find it? I think it was almost the exact same situation as here, and maybe Annie Duke was the big blind he listed.

I think folding, calling, and raising are all reasonable based on your read on the sb.
