Is this where we're headed?

bottomset,

You could but a $5 and $10 bill is really repetitive. I mean the 1 dollar and 2 dollar coin make sense to minimize the number of coins you have to carry, but that usually isn't that necessary for bills. Here in Sweden they have both 20 and 50 crown bills, but the 50s don't get used all that often. Actually, I've got my new solution:

Round to the nearest quarter. Coins would be 25 cents, $1, and $2. Going to edit the original post.

It's a wallet. Like the same as any bi/tri-fold wallet. Except one of the folds has a little pouch on the inside for coins. It's not anything remotely close to a purse.

miajag,
Get that disgraceful FYP out of this thread while there's still time to edit it. I'll not have his good name tarnished here. Do it in the other thread which I have refused to acknowledge. (Starting...now.)

"Coins:

You just want to play some NL for cash, don't you? :P

So, you'd drop some coins and the $1 bill in your system? Kind of interesting.

if they do not get rid of the dollar (paper) this never works. Imagine putting a dollar coin in your mouth and a stripper trying to get it with her ass ...

now that I mention that maybe it is a good idea

[/ QUOTE ]

I've been to strip clubs here where the minimum acceptable "donation" is a toonie ($2 coin).

Yeah I edited my original post. I think 25 cents, 1 dollar, 2 dollars would make the most sense. Then keep the current $5, $20, and $100 bills, but drop the $10 and $50. Also add a $500 bill.

I really like it the more I think about it.

My proposed USA monetary system:

Coins:

10 cents, 25 cents, 1 dollar, 2 dollars

Bills:

5 dollars, 20 dollars, 100 dollars, 500 dollars

God this would be so much nicer its not even funny. You could even keep the $50 bill if you wanted.

[/ QUOTE ]
God that would be awesome to pay for Arby's w/ a 20 and get two fives and two BIG [censored] COINS back.

Oh wait, that would suck.

[/ QUOTE ]

Why would that suck? Also, we aren't talking like monster coins. Probably make the current quarter smaller, and the other two roughly around its size, maybe the $2 a tad bigger.

While we are at it, color/size differentiate the bills. Nah, that'd be too radical for America to wrap its head around.
