It amazes me that people thinnk Auburn is really THAT good that it is completely blasphemous to put someone as good as Michigan ahead of them. Auburn barely even beat f'in South Carolina. Michigan has owned every team they have played. Auburn has beaten one quality team (LSU), Michigan beat ND. What is so ridiculous about this? I am in no way saying Auburn isn't good, but gimme a break.

[/ QUOTE ]

Wait a second, why are you using maybe the most overrated team each year as an example to back anything in an argument. So what you are saying is that ND is better than Auburn? If so, then nothing you say from now on can be taken seriously.

I'm sorry OP but if you had Auburn ranked ahead of tOSU at anytime this season then you're a moron.

[/ QUOTE ]

nope...tOSU is still vulnerable in rush defense verse balanced offenses

[/ QUOTE ]

You must be cum drunk.

[/ QUOTE ]

not really...they are 42nd in stopping the run
it's a widely acknowledged chink by those who analyze game film

Auburn's flaw is a lack of playmakers at the WR position

osu has indeed looked vulnerable to the run. texas ran all over them in the first half but had to abandon the run in the 2nd when they were down scores.. the stud rb from noill put up mad yards. i thought they did well against iowa tho.

meh, it's an almost totally new defense. the biggest chunk of those rushing yards came in their first game, against the best RB in college football. They look like they're getting better. I doubt that this will be an issue by the time the Michigan game comes up.

tdarko - don't let adrian peterson's gaudy stats fool you. Just because he has 500 fewer yards, 4 fewer touchdowns, and averages 4 fewer yards a carry doesn't automatically make him better

teamdonkey,

Exactly don't let stats fool you, 200-400 yards rushing with 2-4 td's everytime you play Ohio, Buffalo or Ball State doesn't mean dick. If you actually think Garrett Wolfe is the best running back in the nation then I think you are one of the funnier posters on this site. Oklahoma has played one team with a defense that is on the level of Northern I's schedule and that is Middle Tenn.

So when lottery time comes I guess you are picking Wolfe...you must be smarter than everyone else in the country b/c AP is already an NFL type running back and stats have nothing to do with anything. You're a funny guy.

I haven't really seen Wolfe. But I have seen AP. He runs like most of the top backs I've ever seen in college FB, not just tis year. The guy turns the corner and you hold your breath hoping someone on your team might hold on to him when he runs over them enough to stop him.

He's a beast.

Tdarko- Troy Smith will probably end up being a 3rd WR/trick play guy in the NFL, does that make the various 6'3" 220 farmboys who will get drafted higher better college QBs?
