America is a country in deep crisis.

The rest of us should have sympathy on them until they learn to join the human race again.

Think their vital Canadian customers would warm up to seeing Euros?

I predicted a more polite environment, since I have always had the impression that the whining was 90% made by Americans, and from the little I played today this was actually a remarkable change, no insults etc.. I have always meant that the fact that things take place on the internet is not a valid excuse to be rude, even versus unknowns, some traits in life are more fundamental and more important than being good at poker/making money and most non-Americans seem to agree. Was quite nice actually to have a work environment without the constant whining . Especially nice to get rid of the wannabe American 2+2-tags who whine everytime I reraise them with i.e 56s and call me a fish/donkey etc. even though it makes them totally misplay postflop so they actually become the fish. Funny though was watching a discussion between 3 fish discussing how sad it was that all the American fishes had left (one of them outfished all of America I would guess ).

i guess my question, why would you call a raise with a 56o anyway? perhaps just american ignorance? i certainly wouldnt call a raise with a 56o. maybe once or twice to throw people off my game and with the hope of pulling some crazy luck, but still, playing that hand on a regular basis doesnt make you a good player IMO.

on a side note, calling someone a fish because they play a turd hand, especially after a raise is something that will not stop, regardless of americans being on those tables or not. fish is not a "bad word" and people are going to be pissed if you win the hand with trip 5's calling huge bets to the river with 56o or 25o in your hand if he has a top pair with top kicker or even two top pair.

I wrote reraise, and it was sooted . It is very efficient versus uncreative players actually, it [censored] up their whole logic. I don't claim that non-Americans are better than Americans, on the contrary I think it is opposite. Just that, and I think this site is the main reason, a lot of American players seem to think they understand the game, but when you break their "rules" they are completely lost.

in response to that, i would probly call a 4-5 way pot raise with a 56 suited. have to be a few people in though to get the odds of little money out to big money in. wouldnt call outrageous bets or reraises though.

Yes, but if you raise with i.e. AJo and when I reraise you I may have AA-JJ, AK or 89s or 76s or 56s does not that make me much harder to play against than if you would know I have AA-JJ or AKs? Nothing revolutionary here, tens of thousands of players get this, but the whiners are typically those who have read a lot and still not get it.

How did you manage to 8-table btw? The most it will let me open now is 6.

[/ QUOTE ]

When I posted this I was able to 8-table. Yesterday Party cut the max tables to 6.
