[ QUOTE ] I play this game at The Bike so I know what I speak. [/ QUOTE ] I'm not sure how this applies to what I said... Saying something is a "$200 game" isn't an answer to whether the show is interesting or not. Yes, you may play in this show every day of the week. I play at Foxwoods every other day, but that doesn't mean I can peg any stakes as entertaining over any other without seeing the players. Stakes don't make for great viewing; the players in that game do. [/ QUOTE ] Well, I disagree with you. Low stakes like these mean low pots to be won and in MY mind what makes a good, exciting show is when the pots are large in proportion to what I play. |

nice read by seat 8 when he folded the JJ. he saw the guy in seat 7 give off 2 big basic tells that indicate serious strength - sitting back with arms crossed and casually taking a drink while the hand is going on...

[/ QUOTE ] I don't think the "tells" had anything to do with his fold. I've played with Rick enough to know that he knew his JJ were no good. |

re: Studio 60:
Sorkin's 'Studio 60' picked up for 2006-07 West Wing creator Aaron Sorkin's new series Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip has been picked up for next season. NBC has ordered thirteen episodes of the drama, which focuses on the behind-the-scenes politics at a late night comedy sketch show. "Aaron Sorkin and Thomas Schlamme's work is TV at its best and Studio 60 lives up to that standard," said Kevin Reilly, president of NBC Entertainment. "I'm thrilled they are back on NBC for the Fall." Among those on the cast are Matthew Perry (Friends), Amanda Peet (Syriana), Bradley Whitford (The West Wing), Evan Handler (The West Wing) and Carlos Jacott (Being John Malkovich). source |
