sippin_criss - I created a new party account and have not made a deposit, I started the account on an inter-account transfer and have been 'cashing out' by sending money to friends who want to play, and them paying me. If you would like I can try requesting a check right now and seeing what the results are.

longy - The PartySngHelper ahk script is a blessing

I believe transfers are treated just like a bonus. You have to clear your transfer before they can be withdrawn.

I didn't get the fight, but my neighbors had it on so loud I could hear every word.

Sounded like a good fight.

It was a great fight. Floyd Mayweather is such a baller.

[/ QUOTE ]

Do you mean baller for being a dick with his shorts/sombrero, baller for winning a close fight in which he was a 2:1 favorite, baller for saying he would destroy DLH "brutally" and doing nothing of the sort, or baller for making 15 million dollars less than DLH made for the fight?

Hi STTF.

I read what I thought was a pretty good SNG strategy guide.

The author gives a basic outline that someone could use to get off and running in the lower level games. The guide even outlines basic push ranges for later in the game when your stack drops.

I thought it was pretty good but would like to maybe get the thoughts of some posters on this forum (I hope someone here has already seen this site) of any changes that might need to be made.

Thanks for any info.

[/ QUOTE ]

I skimmed it. It looks like good advice, especially since it adds a little bit of "why" along with the "how."

[/ QUOTE ]

I can't imagine trying to teach someone who really wants to learn SNGs - w/o letting them play a few PPs for set value early, or how to use SNGPT. But other than that it seemed basically solid on a skim-over.

anyone know how to move your pokertracker files from one computer to another? getting a new comp, i know i can re-register for the program, but do you lose your stats? my pokertracker folder is like 1.5G, and its not many hands, surely people have moved much bigger files than this? how? all help appreciated

[/ QUOTE ]the easiest way to do it is to buy an external HD and copy the entire pokertracker directory onto it. After you reinstall PT on your new computer, either point it to the external HD with the files or copy the DBs to the HD that PT is now installed on. either way, its pretty easy.

[/ QUOTE ]

I have a fair hunch the above directions will only work if you are using the MS Access databases for PokerTracker.

I'd suggest that you use the "backup database" option in PT on your current machine, copy the one file it produces to your new machine, and use the "restore database" feature on your new machine.

There may be registry settings and might be SQL settings that are stored outside the directory, and hence, they might not be transferred if you simply copy the directories around.

Step-by-step directions:
1) Load up PT on your current machine
2) Backup your current database on your current machine
3) While completing step #2, download and install PT and the PSQL software on your new machine
4) Copy the file produced by step #2 to your new machine
5) On your new machine, "restore" the pokertracker database file copied in step #4.
6) Profit

I dropped 1.9k today, capped off with getting slowrolled out of FT 400k, but at least I'm not running as bad as suzzer. Losing a coin flip to KQo that made a terrible call... that's rough.
