[ QUOTE ] How's this for weird [censored]? My uncle is coming up today. This is a special event as he hasn't been in the US for years. He lives in central american area on a boat with his dog. He doesn't really do confined spaces so well. He's flying into Atlanta from Honduras and then to NH on, I just found out, the same flight my brother is connecting with coming out of San Diego. They haven't seen each other for 15 years or so. I scheduled my bro's flight yesterday not knowing what flight Dave is on. Neither of them know yet. [/ QUOTE ] kibby, your uncle sounds amazing, but what i dont understand is that you said he doesnt do confined spaces well, but he lives on a boat????? talk about a confined space..... [/ QUOTE ]A boat with only him and his dog that he controls. Plus, you get to be up on the deck. . . naked in his case. Its more confined with a bunch of people in a room, bus or plane that wigs him out. |

[/ QUOTE ] hmmmmm, how big is his boat also, i would give bengiec a grant of however much $ he needed so that he could follow around your uncle and write a book ( or preferably make a video documentary) about him |

This is a strat question but it doesn't deserve its own thread. SERIOUSLY IS THIS EVER NOT KK or AA. and yes i know i have QQ and i have to go all-in, but I seriously wanted to fold very very badly becuase I knew he had KK and I was going to lose.

[ QUOTE ] Just got back from Foxwoods and have a few observations: 1. Live poker is so rigged. 2. Met Diamond. I figured this forum was full of [censored] like me but turns out he's a good guy. 3. Seeing the look on someone's face when he gets all in with 99 v. AKs and see his opponent flop the royal is quite amusing. 4. Winning a huge pot at 1/2 NL when three people call your $50 reraise preflop and your AA holds up unimproved is fun. [/ QUOTE ] Likewise haha. I honestly never met anyone on 2+2 besides Mike Mac. But I knew Mike Mac before I joined 2+2 so... Anyways, lunch on me next time. It was awesome seeing you play that MTT and sitting down to play some 1/2 w/ you. Also, avoid 3 outers on river and you will win more. Maybe some more guys can come down for a bigger meet sometime in the future? [/ QUOTE ] It wouldn't have hurt so much if he'd had three outs, but the bastard only had two as one would have flushed me. Regardless, was a fun a crazy table. Not often you can play 1/2nl for 90 minutes, start by losing a $350 pot on your third hand, and still walk out up $200. |

He had AA at least though, I've seen a comparable call by someone against me. He spite called with k8o, with a guy with 100 chips SITTING OUT and been for the past 20 minutes. It was like me:
300/600 blinds ME (10k) Button (100 sitting out) SB (2k) spite calls with k8o BB (1.5k) |
