How's this for weird [censored]?

My uncle is coming up today. This is a special event as he hasn't been in the US for years. He lives in central american area on a boat with his dog. He doesn't really do confined spaces so well.

He's flying into Atlanta from Honduras and then to NH on, I just found out, the same flight my brother is connecting with coming out of San Diego. They haven't seen each other for 15 years or so. I scheduled my bro's flight yesterday not knowing what flight Dave is on.

Neither of them know yet.

Oh. I thought you meant neither one of them knew about your Mom yet. But now I see the other thing makes a lot more sense.

you should, see if they recognize each other. and maybe they'll come back with stories "about this one ahole on the flight" who was really their uncle/nephew and then find out their true identities

your uncle sounds like a really interesting character, old man and the sea style.

good luck kibby!

[/ QUOTE ]Just told my bro as after talking to gran we decided that Dave is going to have a hard enough time on a plane as it is. He might as well have some support there.

Ya, my uncle is quite the character. He moved to central america after living in Alaska doing salmon fishing. He basically did the deadliest catch type crap for a number of years though I don't think he did crab specifically. He lived on Kodiak island to give you an idea how remote he liked it.

So ya, last time I saw him down in Belize I asked him about coming to visit in the states at some point. His response, "Can you imagine me going through a metal detector? No way, I'm way too far gone for that."

Apparently, he's changed his mind.
