Most I've ever gone is 12 bets with the nut straight against a lower straight. The other guy didn't run out of money, so I'm not sure what made him say "10 bets, hah, I've still got you, I raise! Oh crap, 12 bets? You must have me, I call."

Hahahha. He thought he had you really good. His use of deception with his limp pre-flop, and flop check, made him think that his hand was disgused enough to "trap" TPTK for 40 bets on the turn. hahaha

That hand is awsome.

On Boss once I went 10 bets preflop with aces against what I was sure was villains kings. I bet/3-bet flop, then called down once the K hit the turn. After he showed KK for the set, he said in chat, "What'd you have? qq?"

weird timing, literally twenty minutes ago I went about ten bets on a 7sQh3h5s board on interpoker. I was stealing OTB with QQ vs. big blind's AA. I don't really remember the most I put in but your guess of every ~5000 sounds about right. we had about 5-10 bets left and I would have gone to the felt there without the nuts.

I've played quite a bit of live and have never gone more than five or so, live players are big wimps. I did see two guys go about 10 or so bets on the river, TAGish player had an obvious nut flush and didn't see the 63s straight flush I guess. other guy (LAGish) kept saying "are you sure???? I raise. dude i'm just going to keep raising. hey buddy I'm going to keep raising you but look at the board. seriously I raise again." other guy keeps staring at the board with a wtf look on his face and kept throwing bets in. hilarious. finally he just says "oh hell. ok i call."
